Business Development Manager
Job Description
Meta Mesh Wireless Communities is looking for a full time Business Development Manager to join our growing team and guide the expansion of our Nonprofit Wireless Internet Service Provider venture.
The Business Development Manager plays an integral role in delivering on our mission, which focuses on increasing digital equity in our region. This role will be responsible for securing Internet service contracts with new institutional customers, including entities like school districts, other nonprofits, local governments and businesses. In purchasing “bulk subscriptions” from Meta Mesh Wireless Communities through our program Every1online, these entities will be able to offer secure, reliable, and relatively fast in-home Internet to their constituents at no cost to the end-user. This reduces financial burden on high-need populations, while helping our institutional customers to deliver their own missions. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and Strategic Business Advisor to craft sales materials, and will then use these materials to recruit new customers at a rate dictated by our organization’s strategic business plan and financial pro forma.
The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for working with new and existing building owner partners who lease valuable roof space to MMWC for mounting our networking infrastructure in strategically chosen locations, also called “relays.” These are the two primary focuses of the Business Development Manager position, who will be responsible for ensuring that the relationships that make up our professional network are positive and healthy.
We are looking to hire immediately. Those with experience working in the nonprofit sector, technology industry, or business administration are encouraged to apply. You do not need to have prior networking experience or familiarity with its concepts for this role.

Field Installer
Job Description
Meta Mesh Wireless Communities is looking for a full time field installer to perform installation and maintenance of wired and wireless networking equipment, Ethernet and electrical cabling, and security cameras.
The Field Installer plays a key role in connecting Meta Mesh community members. They will be responsible for the installation of network infrastructure, solving technical problems, and expanding our network footprint mainly by performing network equipment installations on homes and businesses. These jobs will involve installing, securing, and terminating Ethernet cabling, as well as working on ladders and on roofs. The Field Installer will also be eligible to train and receive an ICARA certification to fly a commercial drone during our survey work.
We are looking to hire immediately. No certifications are required for this position. The position requires alternating between high physical demands and technical skills throughout each project.
