Chairman WOW, it’s almost Maker Faire in Pittsburgh! You may already be aware of the part craft-part science fair – perhaps you’ve even attended the two mini faires held in our fair city in years past. The participants include students, crafters, engineers and local startup companies, all centered around the “maker” theme. Attendees will be able to see everything from drones to cupcake launchers to origami! This is Pittsburgh’s FIRST full Maker Faire, with over 200 exhibits and 10,000 people expected to attend! Go ahead and guess who is a featured maker….
That’s right, Meta Mesh is exhibiting PittMesh, Pittsburgh’s Community Wireless Network. We will be showcasing sample nodes, updated maps of our entire network, and detailed information for neighborhoods interested in joining PittMesh. We may even have a few Halloween surprises! But you won’t be able to experience our presentation in all of its glory unless you actually come to Maker Faire! Information, times, location, and a nifty discount code can be found below. We hope to see you there!
